H&M has one of very few textile recycling programs. They will accept all clothing, including your old gross socks no one wants, and recycle the textiles. This is where you should take items that are too worn and old to be donated and re-purposed. Consider making a pit stop at H&M if in Richmond or Harrisonburg, or making an annual trip to drop items.
